Practical guide
Catalan wedding invitations: wording and examples
Your Catalan invitation can be friendly, understated or playful. Choose the tone you actually use and keep practical details direct: where, when and how to reply.
Friendly wording
“Ens casem! Ens faria molta il·lusió compartir aquest dia amb vosaltres. Us esperem el [data] a [lloc]. Trobareu tots els detalls i la confirmació d’assistència a continuació.” This friendly Catalan example uses placeholders; replace them and read it aloud.
More formal wording
“Tenim el plaer de convidar-vos al nostre casament, que tindrà lloc el [data] a [lloc]. Ens agradaria comptar amb la vostra presència. Us agrairem que confirmeu l’assistència abans del [data límit].” Even with formal wording, make the time and venue easy to find.
Ask clearly for a reply
“Confirmeu l’assistència abans del…” is clearer than an unexplained acronym. Ask whether guests can attend first, then request only the necessary party and practical details. A high question limit is not a reason to make the form long.
Choose a design and review it on mobile
Wax seals, paper and engraving can all suit different tones. Open a Catalan demo and check type size, accents and proper names. If some guests prefer Spanish or English, review those versions before sharing too.
Try a working design
Try the invitation and form before sharing. The free plan supports up to 25 guests; check current limits and pricing before upgrading.
