Practical guide
Wedding invitations for WhatsApp
A WhatsApp invitation works best with a short personal message and a link containing the full details. Use the conversation to send it and the invitation form to keep replies organised.
A message you can adapt
We’re getting married and would love you to celebrate with us! Here is the invitation, the details and the reply form: [link]. Could you reply by [date]? We can’t wait to see you!
Link or PDF?
A PDF can be a lovely visual keepsake, but replies still arrive in separate conversations. A link with RSVP puts the venue, schedule and questions together. If you change a detail, update and republish before sharing.
Test before sending
Send the link to someone you trust. Check the WhatsApp preview, mobile readability, map buttons and a test reply. Chat previews can keep an older image even when the invitation itself has been updated.
A gentle reminder
Hi! We’re finalising the wedding plans. If you haven’t replied yet, could you let us know by [date]? [link]. Thank you! Send reminders only to people whose reply is still pending.
Try a working design
Try the invitation and form before sharing. The free plan supports up to 25 guests; check current limits and pricing before upgrading.
